v4.2.0
A new version of AI-School, AI-Corporate and AI-Public.
-
Faster chat: after a quiet period, the first response starts faster, and during busy periods the chat has to scale up less often.
-
Reliable and fair billing: a message is never processed twice at the same time anymore, even with double-clicks, multiple tabs, or a flaky connection. After an interrupted response, you can choose "Regenerate" yourself. Failed and aborted attempts are recorded more accurately in AI usage.
-
Images in chat: open an image in the AI-School viewer and download the original file with one click.
-
Tool settings: the Tools page for administrators now explains how default settings, costs, and Logging work. Code execution and Logging now work only in assistants, lessons, and workflows, not in a regular chat.
-
SharePoint knowledge base per folder: connect a knowledge base to a single folder in SharePoint, with read access to only that folder. Subfolders with their own permissions are skipped, and revoked access automatically hides the documents.
-
Google Calendar, Gmail and Google Drive: these connections now work through your organization’s own internal Google app. The guide explains how to set it up. Signing in with Google and adding files from your own Drive work as usual.
-
Prepaid credit and AI usage: the pages are now called this. Board administrators see the prepaid credit, school administrators see the AI usage of their own school, and every budget change is recorded in the logbook.
-
Desktop app: for very large tasks, the app summarizes the previous conversation and continues, instead of stopping with an error message.
-
Mobile apps: the iPhone and Android app open directly with your previous session, even on a slow connection. Signing in with Microsoft works with Intune app protection, and the apps receive a security update from Firebase. Administrators can find a step-by-step guide on the website to connect Intune. The new versions will appear in the App Store and Google Play over the coming days.
